Who we are

Convina Group is an independent fiduciary and corporate service provider, comprising several specialist and focused entities aimed at providing fiduciary and corporate solutions. The Group comprises the following:

Wendy Kong, Non-Executive Director

Wendy Kong

Non-Executive Director
Wendy has over 25 years’ experience in the Mauritius financial services sector, advising multinationals and international HNW clients on investment and tax structuring, and spearheading new business and markets in international structuring, tax and estate planning.
Since 2009 she has assisted international investors with real estate structuring and relocation. She founded MW Project Ltd in 2020, a tax and project-management consultancy. She holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (CIOT, UK), a Bachelor of Management Science (University of Kent) and an MBA (University of Hull), joining Convina as Non-Executive Director in May 2024.

Ah Man began as assistant company secretary in a conglomerate listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius, then worked as chartered secretary at a leading corporate secretarial provider for 11 years.
Prior to Convina she was corporate manager of a Company Service Provider within a listed Mauritius group. She qualified as an Associate of the UK ICSA in 2003 and was elected a Fellow in 2017.

A BCom graduate of the University of Natal, Brinda began at Standard Bank Trust before joining GMG Trust Group in 2003, where over 17 years she held roles from Trust Manager to Head of Compliance and Executive Director.
An associate member of STEP, she holds an ICSA (UK) certificate and completed a leadership course at the University of Stellenbosch. She brings over 20 years’ experience in corporate, tax, trust and estate planning, structuring and administering global business companies, trusts and funds.

A qualified accountant with more than 25 years’ experience in Mauritius and the UK, Neeraj began in audit and accounting in 1993 and worked across manufacturing, construction, retail and logistics, with international exposure at a UK real estate agent.
Since 2017 he has worked in financial services for leading Mauritius management companies as accountant and financial controller, servicing foreign and domestic clients, entrepreneurs and HNW families. He is an ACCA (UK) member.

Ronel holds BA and LLB degrees from the University of Johannesburg and was admitted as a South African Attorney and Notary in 2012. She also holds a BCom Financial Management (cum laude) from Unisa.
In practice she focused on contractual law, litigation, trusts and deceased estates before joining the financial services industry in 2015, and in 2019 joined Cantilever Family, a South African multi-family office, covering client relationship management, trust and estate planning, wills, trust deeds and company secretarial services.

Chitra brings over 27 years in Customer Relationship and Hospitality, starting in the hotel industry in 1999 and progressing into leadership across Real Estate, Event Management, Sustainability, Retail and Procurement. Since 2014 she worked with a prominent Mauritius real estate developer, promoting premium projects alongside a leading international agency.
Multilingual, including German, she joined Convina Corporate Services as Senior Associate – Real Estate Desk in April 2025, overseeing the set-up of corporate structures for HNW clients acquiring immovable property and relocating to Mauritius.

Jenny has over 30 years’ experience in Banking and Financial Services in Mauritius, starting at HSBC Mauritius for almost 10 years across client relationship management roles.
She joined the Global Business sector in 1999, rising to Executive Director of a management company and its sister companies within a diversified financial group, and has served as Director of several prominent companies in the global and local sectors. She was appointed Executive Director of Convina Corporate Services Ltd.

Priya has over 17 years’ experience in the Mauritian financial services sector, specialising in corporate and trust administration, company secretarial services, regulatory compliance and client relationship management.
Prior to Convina she worked as Senior Corporate Officer with several management companies, gaining extensive experience administering domestic and global business companies, trusts, foreign entities and other corporate structures. She continues to enhance her expertise through ongoing studies with The Chartered Governance Institute (ICSA).

Reza holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mauritius, graduated ACCA in 2003 and was admitted FCCA in 2013, with more than 15 years in client accounting, tax and finance.
He has held senior positions at a leading Mauritius management company within a listed group, and was previously Audit Supervisor at Baker Tilly, auditing local and international companies.

Mushirah Diljore

Senior Client Accountant
Mushirah holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Banking and Finance from Curtin University and is studying towards the ACCA qualification. She began her career in accounting and audit, developing skills in financial reporting, bookkeeping and regulatory compliance, before moving into the management company sector, specialising in client accounting.
Now a Senior Client Accountant at Convina handling the accounting of domestic entities, she has managed a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, including Global Business Companies, Authorised Companies, trusts, International Business Companies and British Virgin Islands entities.

Sudhir reckons over 12 years’ experience managing structures for international corporate clients, entrepreneurs and HNWIs across Asia and Africa, starting in the global business sector in 2008 and holding senior positions at key Mauritius management companies.
He has built extensive knowledge administering global business companies and trusts across cross-border investment holdings, real estate, hospitality, international trading, asset management and private equity. He holds a BSc (Hons) Economics (UoM) and an MBA specialising in financial services.

A qualified CA (SA), Taryn completed her articles with Deloitte in Cape Town and served as an assistant audit manager in Cambridge, UK, in 2020, before joining Ohlthaver & List in Windhoek as a financial manager.
She joined Cantilever in April 2024 and is a Director of Convina Management Services (Pty) Ltd, overseeing the operations of the Stellenbosch office.

Nasseeruddeen (Nas) counts 14 years in the global business and trust industry in Mauritius, having worked for local and international fiduciary firms including Rogers Capital, Corient and Apex Group, with extensive exposure to Africa- and India-centric structures — global business entities, funds, trusts and foundations.
He has led teams of administrators and accountants in delivering excellent client service while building robust relationships. He holds a BSc (Hons) Finance (UoM) and is completing the final qualifying stage of the ACCA (UK).

Amy holds a degree in Accounting from the University of the Western Cape and completed her SAIPA articles at Ratio Auditors Inc.
She joined Cantilever in January 2025 and is based in the Stellenbosch office, assisting with the accounting and financial reporting of Convina Group clients.

Vandana Rambeerich Damree

Vandana holds a BSc (Hons) Finance and an MBA (Financial Services) from the University of Mauritius, and counts over 15 years in the Mauritius global business sector, starting in 2011 with DTOS Ltd (IBL Group).
She moved to GFIN Corporate Services in 2017 (later acquired by Apex Group), leaving as Vice President, with wide experience managing funds — both closed and open-ended — managers, advisers, dealers, brokers, trusts, foundations and VCCs. She joined Convina Fiduciary Services as Manager in 2024.
Soumayya Kurmoo, Manager, Client Accounting

A qualified accountant and ACCA member since 2018, Soumayya counts more than 12 years in financial services with expertise in auditing, tax and accounting, including the accounting and tax services of trusts and corporates.
Having worked in international groups, she has exposure to accounting principles of jurisdictions beyond Mauritius.

Keveesa is a Fellow of the ACCA (UK) and an active member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants, and holds a BSc (Hons) Accounting with minor Management from the University of Mauritius. With over 13 years’ experience she has developed expertise across legal, tax, accounting, administration, corporate secretarial and compliance functions for global business entities.
Prior to Convina she was Manager at a leading Mauritius management company, leading a team managing a diverse portfolio of closed-end funds, investment managers and investment holding companies.

Avikanand (Avi) began his career in the public sector in 1992 and moved into financial services in 2000 at Standard Bank Trust (Mauritius) as Assistant Manager – Accounting. He has since acquired in-depth experience across numerous offshore management companies at senior level, with special assignments in the UK, Jersey and the Isle of Man.
His experience spans construction, medical insurance, business process outsourcing, private equity, project management and hospitality. He is a Fellow of the ACCA (FCCA) and an active member of MIPA and the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD).

Heetisha has over 12 years in the global business sector. She holds a Bachelor’s in Management from the University of Mauritius and an MBA (Financial Services) from the Open University of Mauritius, with extensive expertise administering Global Business Companies, closed- and open-end funds, trusts and complex corporate structures.
She began in 2011 with Cim Global Business (now IQ-EQ), then GFin Corporate Services (now Apex Group) as Team Leader and Assistant Manager, and later at IQ-EQ Shared Services supporting the Jersey cluster, where she helped establish a dedicated shared-services team.

Resha is an accomplished professional with over 15 years in the Mauritius global business industry, with extensive expertise administering a wide range of structures and delivering practical, compliant, client-focused solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
She has worked for several Mauritius trust companies prior to joining Convina. She holds a Bachelor of Business Management and Leadership (Hons) and is pursuing her professional qualification with The Chartered Governance Institute.

Khaleel is a qualified accountant, ACCA member since 2019 and admitted FCCA in 2025. With around 10 years in financial services he has developed expertise in audit, taxation and accounting, providing services to a diverse portfolio of corporate entities and trusts.
Prior to Convina he spent several years at BDO Mauritius as an auditor before joining KPMG Mauritius as Assistant Manager in Audit & Assurance, leading audit engagements for local and international companies.

A well-known, seasoned leader in the Global Business and Trust industry in Mauritius. With over 30 years’ expertise — including more than 15 years at senior leadership level — Amal advises corporates and high-net-worth clients on international structuring, trust and estate planning.
A graduate of the University of Witwatersrand, he is an associate member of the UK ICSA and of STEP. Instrumental in setting up Cantilever Family International in Mauritius, he previously served as Executive Director of Mauritius International Trust Co. Ltd (Ciel Group) from 2007 to 2019, and chaired STEP (Mauritius) from 2015 to 2017. He currently sits on the STEP Worldwide Branch Development Committee.

With almost a decade in the Mauritius financial services sector, Yaeesh brings strong technical knowledge to the Client Accounting team. After building a foundation in fund accounting at a leading Mauritius firm, he progressed into client accounting, developing expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance and managing accounting services for a diverse client portfolio.
Committed to accurate, efficient, client-focused solutions, he is in the final qualifying stage of the ACCA qualification and dedicated to continuous professional development.
Nicolas Henry, Chairman

Nicolas Henry

Chairman
Admitted to the Mauritian Bar in January 2009, specialising in Corporate and Employment Law. As a holder of the French Bar Vocational qualification (CRFPA, Versailles), his exposure to the French legal system is invaluable in Mauritius, where civil and commercial law is largely French-based.
He has served as a member of the Gambling Regulatory Board and routinely advises corporate clients across the economy, appearing at all court levels with particular emphasis on commercial and employment litigation. He has been Chairman of the Convina Group since inception.

Karina is an experienced corporate services professional with a strong background in company administration and client relationship management. She holds a BSc (Hons) Business Economics with Information Systems from the University of Mauritius and over a decade in the global business and financial services sector.
She joined Convina in 2023 as Company and Trust Administrator, was promoted to Senior Company Administrator, and now oversees client onboarding — ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and a seamless client experience. She previously managed complex client portfolios, company formations, regulatory filings and board meetings at leading Mauritius providers.

Johan van Wyk

Non-Executive Director
Co-founder of Convina and Executive Director of Cantilever Family (Pty) Ltd in South Africa. Johan qualified with a BCom LLB from the University of Johannesburg and completed his law articles in 1999.
Appointed Partner at Werksmans Attorneys in 2002, he joined Webber Wentzel Bowens as a Director in 2006, then the Stonehage Group as Chief Operating Officer (South Africa) and Executive Director, founding Cantilever Family in 2014. He also holds diplomas in Advanced Company Law (UJ) and Advanced Corporate and Securities Law (Unisa).
